Railway Park

During the summer, the Järnvägsparken outdoor area will be open with living environments in historic buildings. As you step into the waiting room of the station building, you step back in time to a period when tickets were purchased at a ticket window, people mailed postcards, and goods to be transported by train were weighed. In the track tender's cabin, you will meet the track tender’s wife, who will tell you about how children lived and played in time gone by. Travel around the outdoor area on the mini-train!

The outdoor area next to the museum, known as Järnvägsparken, offers a wealth of experiences for young and old. Take a ride on the mini-train, peek into historic buildings like the Hosäter track tender’s cabin and the Hennan station building, or spread out your picnic blanket in the park area near the Hennan station. From the restaurant patio, you can keep an eye on your children in the playground next door.
