Information on deficiencies in the website’s accessibility

This website is partly in compliance with the Act on Access to Digital Public Services due to the deficiencies described below.

Corrective action on accessibility problems

Our ambition is to have resolved all known accessibility problems during 2024.

Testing the website jarnvagsmuseet.se

Procured web supplier Knowit Experience Linköping has during the design- and development phase of the newly launched website 2024, conducted a self-evaluation of the website based on the checklists provided by DIGG on the website www.webbriktlinjer.se.

The work to maintain a high level of digital accessibility to fulfil the requirements on the Act on Access to Digital Public Services for the website www.jarnvagsmuseet.se continues a regular basis.

The action plan and this accessibility report is updated at least once a year based upon both automated and manual tests. The accessibility guidelines have also been incorporated into the daily work routines through integrating them into the design- and development phases as well as complementing test routines.

In parallel with the technical development work, SMTM works internally to examine the content on the website and prepare an action plan for the editorial sections and thereafter continuously work to implement the corrective actions though educating editors and examine content.

The website was published in spring 2024.
