The Railway Park

During the summer, the Railway Park is open with its historic buildings and displayed locomotives and carriages. The waiting room in the station building reflects a time when tickets were purchased at a ticket window, people mailed postcards, and goods to be transported by train were weighed. In the lengthman’s cottage, the lengthman’s wife shares stories about how children lived and played in the past. At the nearby garden café, snacks and refreshments are available. Don’t miss a ride (or two!) on the mini- train around the park!
