Currently all trips are cancelled to avoid the spread of the Coronavirus, but also due to the affect that this sutation has on our business. For this we are most sorry. We are monitoring developments closely and plan for trips later on this year.

Swedish Railway Museum's locomotives and rolling stock have been carefully restored and are part of the national collection. A number of selected vehicles are used for trips on our historical trains where the timetable is adapted to normal departures. The trips cover the whole country and often start from Gävle, where the museum is located.

On board we can offer comfortable armchairs in first class and a simpler standard in third class. On longer trips we often take along our beautiful dining car from the 1950s where the head waiter serves hot dishes that are prepared on board on china plates on white linen tablecloths. Coffee is also normally served in our buffet car.

In the menu you can also find up-to-date information about trips, our trains and what it means to travel with us.
